Animate a 3D Model Online

Open the Animate timeline in VIZON, pose objects or bones, press I to set keys, preview with Space, and export the animation inside a GLB.

What you can do

Keyframe objects

Key position, rotation and scale of any object at any frame.

Pose rigged models

Select bones in Edit pose and key their rotation.

Preview

Press Space to play the action and check the timing.

Named actions

Keep several actions, such as idle and wave, in one file.

Imported clips stay

Animations already inside a GLB are kept.

Native GLB animation

Actions export as standard glTF animations that web viewers and engines play.

How to animate a model

  1. Open the model and click Animate.
  2. Move to a frame, pose the object or bone, and press I to add a key.
  3. Move to a later frame, change the pose, and press I again.
  4. Press Space to preview.
  5. Download as GLB to keep the animation.

Frequently asked questions

Can I animate a character?

Yes, if it is rigged. Use Edit pose to select bones and key them. Unrigged characters can be rigged in the Rig menu.

Which format keeps animations?

GLB. STL has no animation, so export GLB.
